Please recommend me your bean to cup coffee machine

Hi everyone

I don’t drink coffee but my DH got a second hand bean to cup Delonghi machine a year ago as he was spending £5 a day in Starbucks on his way to work.

Its an old model and big and bulky, takes up a lot of room on the kitchen side and I’d really like to treat him to a new one for Christmas so I’ll be buying during the Black Friday sales.

I have a budget of £400, needs to be bean to cup, not worried about what brand it is but I’d like something not too big.

We have a SAGE, I’m not sure which model but I would recommend their machines. We’ve had it for nearly 6 years and it’s still going strong! Plus it has a hot water spout so we no longer need a kettle.

I think they’re over £400 new but our friend was talking about getting a refurbed one recently which cost less and they were happy with it.

We have the ninja one and it’s very easy to use and not too big.

The bigger one you have sounds like it might be an industrial one used in a cafe or restaurant so will likely last longer.

But I get that you want a smaller one but your DP might not thank you for it so I’d try some digging to see if he’d prefer a newer smaller one
