To want to hear every Top 40

Just listening to the Official Chart Show on Radio 1 and I notice quite a few of the songs are skipped.

AIBU to want to go back to the old days when the Top 40 was played in it’s entirety and the Chart Show was 3 hours long? It’s now 1 hr 45 mins.

FYI Michael Jackson’s ‘Thriller’ is at no.33!

It’s really annoying me how many songs are being skipped

Did they always play them all????🤔

Seems to recall listening to it in the 80's (Sunday teatime) and tracks that were moving DOWN the chart were often skipped.

I get my fix by recording old Top of the Pops

I love watching those too ❤️

Every Friday night I watch BBC4 for old Top of the Pops. Although half the time I am going well I don’t remember this, or wasn’t that shit! You do get the occasional banger though.

That’s why I record TOTP, I can fast forward as required
