Hello. Last week I had an ear and head scan due to ongoing pain near ear and head. They rang this morning to book me in for an appnt which isn't until next week. I'm really stressing out and worried that it's something serious that they want to see me. It was with the inhealth group part of the NHS. I am so anxious to have to wait a week to find out if I have anything serious:(

Sounds normal timeframe to me. I had a head mri then ent two weeks later, with no findings.

I dont mean to be short here, but what did you expect? An MRI will usually be followed up with a call or in person appt. If theres any kind if treatment plan to follow, even minor, an in person appt is quite normal.

Feelings are not facts so keep a check on yourself. You have nothing fact-based to worry about at present. Keep yourself busy and grounded (exercise, podcast, meditation?).

Thanks for your replies. I was just hoping for a phone call but now it's in person it's worrying me which is normal. I'm going to try and keep busy this week and do some running which helps me.
