Shock after baby sprayed during 'racist' attack in Worcester

Did you hear about this?

Happened a few weeks ago and I read the news daily. Where was this buried?

There is definite front page reporting bias as if this was another religion or race we would’ve heard about it.

Only through social media did I see this. Scary.

I don’t know, as it doesn’t disclose the race or religion of the victim or the perpetrator as far as I can see?

OverDram · 28/10/2025 08:50

A Muslim man holding his baby was attacked by a white lady.

Horrendous, but it doesn't mention the race or religion of anyone involved?

ELO10538 · 28/10/2025 08:56

It was on the BBC News page. 13/10/2025.

OverDram · 28/10/2025 08:57

Did you hear about it? Was it discussed?

A 77-year-old woman was arrested on suspicion of assault, racially aggravated public order and threats to kill. She was later further arrested on suspicion of harassment and remains in police custody, West Mercia Police said.

it was most definitely a racist attack. It has been buried and clearly no one cares because Muslims and ethnic minorities are currently fair game.

A small road with large hedges either side of it with several two storey semi-detached houses at the end of it.

Awful for the family and community. I guess there are limitations to what can be reported if someone has been charged - we may hear more about it when it comes to trial.

Yes this will be it exactly. There are reporting restrictions after someone is charged. It’s to ensure the trial does not collapse.

I await the protests outside retirement complexes...

Vintique · 28/10/2025 09:40

Absolutely horrendous, the poor family. Violent and shocking racist attacks are happening far too often these days, it’s so awful. If there are reporting restrictions due to possible trial I hope it’s widely reported when it comes to trial - and people take a long hard look at themselves!

Vintique · 28/10/2025 09:42

And when I say far too often obviously I mean any at all is too many

BluntPlumHam · 28/10/2025 09:54

There’s also been a second racially aggravated rape which has been buried. It’s the effect of reform et al. Lack of accountability for these people is harming our communities.

OverDram · 28/10/2025 15:01

Didn’t even see the other ones. What is going on with the reporting?
