Anyone up? Does this look like just a viral rash??

My DD. She’s been a bit under the weather. Noticed this rash. Small amount round her face and also her neck now

Sorry, just noticed also her tummy and is more widespread there.

Does it Blanche? Put a cup over it and give it a bit of a press to see. Has she got a high fever?

when mine have a viral rash it very much looks like the measles rash but obviously isn’t. Given that it’s spread now across her tummy I would say yes viral rash. It’s whether it blanches that matters really and whether she has a high fever. With the meningitis rash they would be very poorly by the time the rash shows up. Can she put her head to her chest? Is she sensitive to light?

I always get rashes checked by the gp but it’s early still and it’s Sunday which is typical. Do you have out of hours?
