This is odd from Tonies

Hey!

So our tonie box stopped working properly. Contacted Tonies for help, sent over requested pictures including item serial number etc and they asked that I send it back to them for a replacement. I sent it back last week and they sent out a code to purchase a replacement however the code didn't work. I contacted them and have been chasing it up since late Thursday. Today they have come back and said the item is outside of warrenty (it was gifted to my son last year so I doubt it but it's not impossible) and said it's been escalated to their internal teams. They won't supply a new working code, or give any information as to where my broken tonie Box is.

Aibu to think that if they already offered and accepted the return, and issued a replacement code albeit one that doesn't work, they should be either sending my old box back or replacing/fixing it? Does anyone know where I stand with this as they have my old box and are suddenly querying it despite it having been checked via serial number etc before it was returned?
