Hallelujah. Finally this national disgrace of a man is stripped of his titles including Duke of York and Knight of the Garter. AIBU to ask that he is stripped of his Princehood and removed from the Royal Line of Succession and booted out the gigantic royal mansion he lives in because he is no longer a Working Royal?

Firstly he is a awful human being.

But he's not been stripped of his titles. He's decided himself not to use them

Being a prince is his by birth.

Apparently he pays to lease his home.

I am not defending him at all. I wish he would just rot.

He is still a prince due to his birthright . Now we just need him to fade away and not be seen or reported on in the media .

You can't "give up" the title of prince, it's not something that's earned.

Tell that to all the people that no longer recognise Harry as a prince.

I think it’s been a long time coming. He should have been stripped away a long time ago, not just because of the increasing pressure from the public, but because it was the right thing to do. Another day, another publicity stunt.

The monarch can take the Prince title away. I doubt if he will though, the king has been gradually getting him back into the fold. How much do the royal family know and cover up ? Hereditary monarchy is an antiquated concept. There’s too much secrecy and parliament are not allowed to mention the royal family because of the Erskine May ruling. They are above the law . Being the head of state just by accident of birth is un democratic and a medieval concept that is not relevant in this day and age.
