at a well known high street chemist. Had it every year for years, felt the usual nip but as the chemist (male, big chap versus usual small woman) leaned over to administer. he put it in and pushed the end of the needle to dispense liquid there was a really high pitched air sounding squeak. Neither of us said anything. AIBU to think I might die from an airlock? Not usually paranoid but Dr google says it’s in the right place in muscle and Dr google also that I might have trouble from it. Help me pls medic people 🤷🏼‍♀️

I had mine earlier this week and both my colleague and I commented that the syringe made a weird sound as it was pressed. So far we have both been fine. I wonder if it something to do with the batch or brand and how the plastic of the syringe has been made?

At mine the nurse said - this year the syringe seems to fizz as injected - didn’t know why or seem concerned

I didn’t feel it at the time but I did hear it lol

I felt it later though … no pain no gain and all that

It comes with an air bubble in. Have given hundreds the past 2 weeks and completely normal. Air in the muscle is not really a concern, air in the vein is. Don't worry
