At any one time, I tend to have a few go-to fantasy scenarios I can drop into, all of which feature me as the main character in some
shamelessly unrealistic and melodramatic storyline.
Ive got a Star Trek one, where I’m a figure from future history that’s been smeared as
a villain in all their history books but am actually a hero (with bonus romantic sub-plot and impressive self-sacrifice scene).
In another, I’m a mysterious masked woman (various ridiculous reasons) who is forced into a marriage with a rugged highlander for my own protection (he’s super hot, and astounded by my beauty when I’m unmasked, of course).
I love being able to drop into these unabashedly implausible daydreams, and often wonder what goes on in other people’s heads too.
