Living in Stafford

Hi, I am looking for some advice in living in Stafford. I have seen some pretty old posts which are not very complementary, was wondering if it has gotten better recently. I am moving with my daughter and two young granddaughters (4 yrs and new born) and am a bit concerned about the prison which I believe houses sex offenders. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

I know nothing of Stafford but have lived and worked near to prisons. They are not a problem, you will not be seeing and encountering prisoners. They are locked up!

I think the prison is the least of the problems there

You do know that they are locked in the prison don't know, you won't bump into any of the prisoners shopping in the town centre!

Stafford is not bad, same as anywhere else really with good parts and no so good parts. I don't live there but visit regularly.
