So before I met my ex I had only slept with one person and then we were together for 20 years. I wasn’t emotionally ready for another relationship but I have met some great men, good sex and know what I want, I can have sex without feeling guilty and have explored things I probably wouldn’t have before I got married? Is this normal? I feel I am becoming maybe too promiscuous, men don’t get judged for this stuff!

Well you're calling yourself a 'hoe' which doesn't fill me with great confidence.

NoIdontWantNoscrub · 13/10/2025 17:32

Enjoy yourself. ☺️

ELO10538 · 13/10/2025 17:33

You sound a lot like my DSis (except she was married 15 years).

TattooStan · 13/10/2025 17:34

You sound like you're about 40? I'm happily married, but have become very slutty since turning 40! I think it's a combination of hormones and self confidence. My husband is happy but tired!
If I were single, I'd be rampant! Enjoy it!

BlueMum16 · 13/10/2025 17:34

I see no issue as long as it's safe sex and everyone is consenting and clear on expectations.

Have fun.

Bladderpool · 13/10/2025 17:34

So long as you’re protecting yourself from STIs I don’t see a problem. There’s always going to be double standards and some people will be judgemental, if you’re ok that’s all that matters. I would advise you to keep your private life private, that way the judgey ones are none the wiser.

NotDavidTennant · 13/10/2025 17:35

If you're having a good time and not putting yourself in danger then it's really no-one's business but your own. Enjoy yourself!

EveryKneeShallBow · 13/10/2025 17:41

Why so many threads asking people for comment on their sex life lately? Idgaf how many times you’ve had it up wherever. It’s your life, suit yourself.

Overtheatlantic · 13/10/2025 17:42

Hoe? Just, noe.

HRchatter · 13/10/2025 17:43

Just dont get pregnant

HelenaWaiting · 13/10/2025 17:44

You've had a phase of being a gardening implement since your divorce? Whatever works for you, I suppose.

INX · 13/10/2025 17:47

I feel I am becoming maybe too promiscuous

Then stop 🤷‍♂️

Sex is supposed to be enjoyable, not something that worries you or makes you call yourself something that's slang for whore.

Personally I am a rake.

In a Hellfire Club kind of way...

childrenwatchthefools · 13/10/2025 17:52

I thought it was just ‘ho’ (no e, that’s for gardening) - but yeah, go for it as long as you’re happy with it. If it’s ever accompanied by feelings of any kind of shame or feeling unsafe, then it’s time to stop imo. But other than that, have fun.

Raspberrymoon49 · 13/10/2025 17:57

Why do women perpetuate the use of words like ho, slut, slag, surely as women we don’t use those words or maybe it’s just me

Raspberrymoon49 · 13/10/2025 22:16

For me, those words buy into the denigration of women and it’s bloody depressing when it’s women keeping the words alive
