Currently in the last stages of family court proceedings and trying to finalize the child arrangements order.
DS will be 50/50 but DD will have 2 phone calls a week with Dad and contact around special occasions.

I am trying to make sure everything is spelled out specifically and there is no room for doubt as he will absolutely use it in future if it's not concrete in the order.

I have put forward that we are both entitled to 2 weeks to take the kids on holiday each year. Would these normally be swapped for other dates? So for example if I said I was going on holiday for 2 weeks next summer he would like to tally those days up and use them for extra days at weekends etc... is that normally the way it would be done?

If it’s allocated I assume it’s already counted so no swapping, but I’m not certain. Your arrangement sounds like DD won’t have regular contact in person or any over nights but will be expected to holiday with him for 2 weeks of the year? Does she want that?

No sorry she won't be having contact with him or going on holiday. The holidays will be for DS who will be 50/50!

Why would you swap? You get 50/50. I assume it will be two weeks together? If so and you do week about then you both lose a week

if it’s two separate weeks then you can choose if you want to take it on a week he should have he takes his on a week you would normally have
