Hi
bit random I guess I’m just seeking reassurance! Daughter has just started secondary and it’s going well so far. Walking with primary school friends but gradually making new friends through lessons etc. had a friend back a couple of times. She is just a total homebody and loves her bedroom and being at home. She’s happy and not down guess I just want to make sure it’s okay that she’s not at all fussed by hanging around outside and the park / she hates drama so I am taking it as a plus that she wants to be with us! Anyone have this or do they find kids don’t ever want to be in!

You have a happy home that your child wants to spend time in. Don’t worry about it, appreciate it and pat yourself on the back. Well done.

I loved being in my bedroom at her age, it was really cosy and nice. But you couldn’t keep me in when I hit 16, any excuse to go out! I think it’s normal.
