Fun night in with friends…

We have some friends over this weekend. We are late 30’s early 40’s. They bring their kids who play with ours and we all eat something nice and have drinks etc. We do end up drinking a lot and I just wanted to change the dynamic and play some games etc. Any recommendations for good games to play? I’ve seen these guess the lyric games advertised and similar and wondered if anyone can recommend anything?! Thanks!

Spin the bottle, once the kids are in bed?

depending how old the kids are: “Herd Mentality” is fun with a group - prompts lots of conversation! We play it quite successfully with kids (adults may have to screen out some of the harder questions for kids to answer, or play in a team with the littlest kids).

🤣🤣🤣

there’s a great game called “Sorry what?”, where you wear headphones and have to guess what the other person is saying. We laughed so much playing this (even funnier after a couple of wines).
Five second rule is another funny one
Cards against humanity if you have a dark sense of humour

ETA just realised you maybe want to play them with the kids, in that case definitely not cards against humanity 😆
The other two are family friendly though.

Edit- not with the kids! They can play on their own 😂

Grabolo has been a hit with every group I've played with so far, and can be played with kids as well - it's a really simple concept but about four of my friends have bought it since playing it with us 🤣

Telestrations is also really fun but it's better with a bigger group.

Yeah cards against humanity is always a good shout with drinks
