To be worried about my head?

I had something hit my head. Around 48 hours ago. Since then I have had a lump on my forehead under the skin and it hurts a lot when I press on the area. Slight tenderness when moving, but hurts more to press. Aibu to be worried?

They say a lump that protrudes is good, if you feel dizzy, have a headache, blurred vision, feel sick or are being sick I’d say go somewhere, otherwise I personally wouldn’t but that’s me.
if you bumped your head it will hurt, do what feels best for you.

What was the something?

Unfortunately it will hurt when something has hit your head - you might even get a nice goose egg of a bump to show for it.

But unless your vision is affected or you feel nauseous - or are throwing up - or have a constant headache, feel disorientated, dizzy or very sleepy then it's doubtful that it will be concussion.

Please stop pressing it and hurting yourself. Even a minor head bump can cause a big lump. A cold compress with help with any swelling.
