I know it’s insignificant but still I’m curious. 🧐

Looks like the start of a wart.

BauhausOfEliott · 05/10/2025 22:48

I’ve never had a wart before. Only verrucas.

Can I leave it?

Yes looks like a wart. I had one on the side of my finger that appeared overnight and then stayed for about 5 years. One day it was suddenly gone!

Yes. If it’s the kind of wart I think it is (the type called a flat wart or plane wart) it’s unlikely ever to cause you any problems. They usually just stay pretty much like that one in your photo - a little painless fleshy bump. I’ve had a couple of tiny ones for years.

How big do they get?

OP posts:

That's a wart, if you have one you will probably get more and they can be spread by skin contact to other people.

See a doctor, straight away, there are simple treatments for them these days.
