Restaurant deals

Has anyone else noticed how ridiculously specific restaurant offers are becoming?

"Get 15% off your second 6oz blue cheese burger when you buy onion rings and a decaf skinny mocha latte with soy milk on the third Wednesday of every month containing an 'n' between 3:30 and 4:43 in our London branches, not including Covent Garden, Kings Cross, Victoria or anywhere within 20-minutes' walk of a tube station. Only available to philosophy students and left-handed NHS workers aged between 27 and 31 with red hair and size 5.5 feet. Bring a laminated copy of this voucher printed on purple paper and cut into a hexagon with pinking sheers to qualify."

Presumably they just want to entice people who notice there are offers, but then make it too onerous to actually claim any of them.

I wanted a two for one cocktail deal the other day when I was out with two friends. Fair enough they had to be the same one, but you had to have them at the same time too, and every person on the table also had to do the cocktail deal or no one could have the deal 🫠
