cokethorpe school vs westonbirt school

Hi All,

Is Westonbirt or Cokethorpe better for a relativly bright, sporty DS?

I don't know about Westonbirt but Cokethorpe has some very nice sporting facilities. My friend's eldest two went there and her son ended up in the GB squad (kayaking) and did several sports at a decent level.
However she took her youngest out and sent him to Bartholomews in Eynsham (state) and his GCSE results were just as good.

Is this really an AIBU? YABU.

Don’t know Westonbirt but Cokethorpe would be a good fit for bright and sporty. Academic stretch and so many choices of sport to pick from. Worth a visit. DD was average ability on arrival and v sporty child who is absolutely thriving there (now 84%+ in summer exams and first team sports all the way)
