Ex husband lying about being busy

I've caught my ex husband out quite a few times now where he has cancelled on seeing our child for the weekend as he is unwell/unable too and he has actually been seeing his new gf/ gone for weekends away/ gone out with friends and it really really pisses me off.

The canceling on seeing his child is absolutely awful as it is as he's always been in and out when he pleases but to lie about why on top just really gets to me. I know I can't change this, he was always a massive liar throughout our relationship.

We are heading to mediation soon due to his inconsistency and yet hes still lying as to why he can't see our child, I really see no point in this personally but we will give it a try.

Just wondering if anyone else has been in a similar situation?

My ExH frequently cancelled on our DC, or was extremely late so that he messed up my own work schedule. Always blamed his precious shifts.

One time when he was supposedly working a shift the DC came across him at a barbecue in a park with his new girlfriend and pals.

Honestly just why, they are just so vile!!

What happened after that?

The DC said he was embarrassed when they went over to say hello, so there’s that I suppose.

Also they started to realise for the first time he wasn’t always truthful.

My dc is only 5 so still really young and unaware about it all at the moment, I mean I know why he's lying it's because he just dosent care about our child at all, but he can't say that so just makes up a lie and lives his life anyway, wish I had the nerve that some of these men do.
