i would love to share a photo of two gorgeous women.. my daughter and her best friend..now in their late 30's. I asked permission and they said yes. I am just so very proud of how the crazy brats grew up... let me know if it is appropriate

It's lovely that you are so proud of them. Maybe post on your social media instead so all your friends and family can see. They are likely to appreciate the photo much more than strangers on MN.

They probably don't realise what a massive audience there is for anything posted on Mumsnet. Odds are that there are colleagues, neighbours and acquaintances of theirs who will see it who they might not want to.

So sorry, I get that you're proud, but Mumsnet isn't the place really.

On the off chance that this is for real I think it’s good you asked us before posting.
I’ve no idea of how to explain my reasoning but basically If you want to post a picture of someone on here, there really needs to be a motive to show people.
Example: I would like your feed back on something to do with physical appearance, hence the photo.
The only acceptable photos you could put on here without a specific reason is look how cute my pet is.
