This reminded me of being on a train to Leeds in the late eighties as a teen.
I remember the fear.
I remember the upset that noone stood up for me.
I remember looking over my shoulder for hours after I got off the train.

The return of the P word. Something I haven’t heard for decades in London and hope to never hear again.

It’s not ‘just kids’. She shouldn’t ’just ignore it’ and ‘not make a big deal out of it’.

When they’ve finished with ethnic minorities think about who will be next.

I really hope that this is just a blip and isn't becoming the norm. It's a horrible way to treat another human being.
