Suddenly I can’t drink alcohol

I have been quite a regular wine drinker until recently and used to enjoy a glass but I just can’t drink it, all of a sudden, I don’t like the taste and feel like I just can’t enjoy it or force it down.
I have been forced to stop drinking it by sudden unexplained aversion.

Has anyone else experienced this?

Its a histamine thing for me which is getting worse as i get older. If I drink white, i get a blocked nose and all phlegmmy.

Im better on rose and fine on red, but since hitting peri-menopause the hangovers are horrendous to the point where i rarely even bother having a glass now.

Oh that’s so awful!! Horrendous

Mounjaro op,? within half an hour or so of first dose complete aversion haven't touched a drop since.

How recent is recent? Going off wine is how I know I’ve got covid. Had it 3x and it tastes of metal.

Yup, for me it was menopausal. One night I drank half a bottle of white over dinner and conversation. ( about 3 hours) I was so drunk I fell into the Christmas tree and couldn’t get up, I felt drugged. I don’t drink at all now, even a beer makes me ill and I no longer like the taste anyway. I don’t miss it though.

I used to happily drink 1/2 a bottle of red each night over a decade back. Might even describe myself as a bit of a red wine snob. Loved it. Never drank beer - didn't much like it, barely drank spirits. Then something changed. I now have no interest whatsoever in red wine. Defo. not menopausal or pregnant.

For the first time in years I had a glass last weekend - it was horrible. I don't mind white every now and then - which is weird - I had no interest back in the red wine days. Like others, I have moved on to beer.

Yep I know what you mean!
I had a monumental hangover last month after big day out and it was horrible. I’ve had these many times in my adult life but the thought of alcohol made me feel sick for about 2 weeks (never happened before).
I thought I might be pregnant but I wasn’t. I don’t want to have more than a few drinks in one sitting anymore. The headaches from it are worse than they used to be and I don’t like the way it makes me feel.
