Hello
I feel off my wheelie office chair today on a slippy floor at home .
landed on my bum . I called midwife they said no cause for concern. Just seeing if anyone on here as ever down that and had the same ?

I fell over backwards after slipping in a pile of horse poo that I was chasing my dog away from eating. I was 37 weeks pregnant. Broke my arm, but no concern for the baby as I fell backwards and didn't bump the bump.

Slipped over on a muddy steep hill and landed heavily on my bum at a similar stage. All was fine. Don't think it was related (memory is poor as it was nearly 10 years ago now!) but also at a similar stage I managed to put my pelvis out (could barely walk, was agony sitting and even lying down) and had to see a pregnancy specialist chiropractor - one session and it was so much better.

I fell over several times when pregnant - down the stairs, out of the front door and over on a walk. Each time managed to just land on my backside and no harm done at all!

Ironically I rode my horse until 35/36 weeks in each pregnancy and never felt off balance at all, but rushing around at home my balance was well off.

Also fell hard on my bum around that stage of pregnancy. I was on holiday - it hurt and I broke my sunglasses! Bump was fine though and is now a very healthy nearly 15 year old!

Slipped a couple of times when pregnant and fell on my butt. Apart from some lovely bruises didnt occur to me to call mw as there wasnt any impact to my stomach

I slipped on ice stepping out of my front door at around 32ish weeks pregnant, fell right on my backside. Very painful and I was worried but all was fine.
I always advise women to get themselves checked out though if they feel worried or you notice any changes. Remember, little ones are very well protected in there.

Ok thank you all I feel a lot better . I will stop worrying . Thank you x

Not quite the same but I fainted several times when pregnant with our eldest , not enough warning to sit so in effect fell over a lot .

My sister fell face first and landed heavily on her bump at about 40 weeks pregnant. The baby was absolutely fine and has just aced his GCSEs. They are very well padded in there.

Didn't fall on my bum but I did fall through the front door when I was about 36wks with DS. Had some bags of shopping sitting in the hall, bringing more in from the car, tripped over the step, lost my balance due to big bump, and landed on my hands and knees. Burst into tears from the shock and pain, and scared poor DD (who was only 4 and tried to help me up... but she was mostly concerned that I'd squashed her baguette!).

DS was fine though. He's 7 now, and no ill effects that I can see!
