Why so hard to organise?

Six friends - female - since college days, wanting to celebrate birthdays of 2 who turn 40 this year. Can't agree dates, let alone whether to stay in UK or go abroad.

I can't deal with the WhatsApp chat and feel like pulling out. A couple of them like to get their own way so can't imagine what the actual trip will be like if we can't even agree on dates and location. I'm not really a fan of girls weekends away/ hen weekends away.
AIBU to bow out and just do my normal holiday with family?

How have you managed to stay friends as a group of 6 for this long? Don’t go if you don’t want, not unreasonable at all, and don’t ask friends to celebrate your 40th in turn. It’s a shame but if you won’t enjoy it don’t go.
