Looking for a low frame bed for 23 month old

I currently alternate between DC sleeping in the cot and sleeping with me in my bed.

I am now hoping for DC to sleep in their own bed.

DC seems to need a lot of space and despite the bed being a king size I often find myself almost falling out of bed due to being kicked of by DC and how he sleeps.

I think a small double would be perfect for him

I want a bed that has a low frame because he moves around so much I get worried he may fall off.

I have looked everywhere and can’t seem to find anything suitable.

Any suggestions and recommendations highly appreciated.

Many thanks x

Mattress on the floor. We did it for a while for our toddler.

Get bed guards.

At that age I would push the bed up against the wall on one side and then put a bed guard on the other. Mine have doubles, have done since they were toddlers, and I expect them to last indefinitely. A low bed/floor bed is a short lived waste of money IMO and mattresses can get damp if placed directly on a floor so I wouldn’t do that for a prolonged period either.

Hi everyone thanks for the advice.

Yes a low bed/floor bed is a waste of money tbh, are bed guards safe?
