Slimming pants that are comfortable

Is there any such thing?

I have something coming up where I will be photographed a lot and want to look my best, but have that lovely peri bloat/fat gathering on my stomach. However, I can’t suffer in the name of looking good, and the fat pants (M&S and Spanx) that I’ve previously worn make me feel like I’m being strangled from the inside out - definitely a no go.

I suppose that’s the exact point of them, to squish you into oblivion and by doing this, making you an inch trimmer all round or something….but just on the off chance, has anyone found a comfortable middle ground, that can smooth things out without strangling all internal organs?

I prefer a body suit to fat pants as I find they move and end up with fat escaping like a muffin top. There are some pretty cheap ones on Amazon that are a cotton blend with stronger Lycra panels. They smooth and hold you in a bit without that blood supply being cut off feeling. I wear them quite a lot as stomach never recovered. From twins and it makes clothes hsng better.

Came here to say this, an all in one, from under boob to mid thigh/knee (depending on what youre wearing over it), prevents the muffin top and strangulation.

These are the ones I have and I honestly feel like blood supply is being cut off 🤣
They look great - no muffin top over the top or anything - but I cannot bear how they feel!

I found high waisted gym shorts can work fairly wel, would that be worth a try?

I’ll give this a go! Thank you

I will never wear any of this shit again - modern day corsets.

I remember being at a wedding once aged 30 feeling thoroughly miserable. Shortly after the dancing started I made a beeline for the ladies bathroom, ripped the tortuous garment off and decided there and then life is too short, the other guests could all deal with the sight of my tummy.

I made a similar decision about high heels a few years ago too.

Either workout and diet till you're satisfied or accept your body how it is. I've done both at different stages in life.

These are what you need. Flatten everything out, and are so comfortable I am now ruined for any other knicker. It's happened, I'm in the old lady pants and I don't care.
