Cape Town good shopping advice

I am in Cape Town for the next couple days. Weather is drizzly and cool… was planning to go up Tabletop mountain but it’s covered in cloud and water is choppy and unpleasant trip Roben Island
I have been to V and A but really wanting somewhere I can stroll with quirky shops and cafes … ? Kloof street .. anybody any ideas.

Kloof street is good
if you can uber or train to Kalk Bay, lovely shops, antiques, food places, quirky shops - one of my favourite shopping streets /

I’m going on Friday with my 2 year old granddaughter, we are meeting my daughter there for a few days, I’ve never been before so I’m interested in this thread too!

Kalk Bay over Kloof St any day of the week!

Oh I went to Kalk Bay today … it was better weather and just beautiful.. vey boho and I bought a wonderful boho dress and some gifts friends.
Had a lovely lunch and would definitely recommend .. winelands tomorrow.. I have lived Cape Town.

It’s my favourite place in the world.

Have a potter around Franschhoek, love the little shops there.
