Should I cancel the hotel

I know this is a small problem in the grand scheme of things.....I booked 3 rooms in a hotel in Sorrento for July next year. Total cost over €8000. Yesterday while showing somebody the hotel I noticed the prices of the rooms had gone down in total by €804. Rather than booking the new price and then canceling the old reservation I just emailed the hotel to ask them to change my reservation [and upgrade two of my rooms] so i would have been paying €438 less.
The Hotel emailed me today to say the prices are the same as what I booked and when I checked the prices had gone back up. I have no way of proving the prices from yesterday ,I should have screenshot them but genuinely thought they would believe me.
I have kept the booking but I am so annoyed with myself for not booking yesterday . I feel like canceling but I spent ages looking for the right hotel and now this is pissing me off. What should I do?

Hotel prices do go up and down because of demand. I've seen prices change overnight many times.

That’s what hotel prices do. I usually book a room that is free cancellation and if they do go down I book the new price and cancel the original
