Maybe this isn't the right platform but I started starting dating my partner 3 years ago and we have a 1 year old now .

She just logged into her NHS app to show me something and mistakenly scrolled quickly and saw that she has medication for hsv2.

I am fuming as I think she should have told me so I can make an informed decision to be intimate etc way back when(we did get tested etc at the time )

She takes a pill every day for this since she was 25(she is 35 now ). She has still had breakouts and it turns out each time she has had them, she would just lie about it just to avoid us being intimate (considerate I guess) .

Am I wrong to be angered by this ? I know it's not life threatening but I think I should have been informed this I can make Choice .

I’m not sure I could forgive this OP. You’re are absolutely right to be furious with her. What was her excuse for not telling you?

RealEagle · 14/09/2025 12:23

Of course she should have told you .

Thank you guys, I think i will show her this just so she sees this is nuts.

Since this I just feel betrayed and I am struggling to move past it, I am now feeling like this relationship is built on lies. She may have other skeletons

Yes you are right this is a betrayal of trust and she could have passed it on to you.
