Looking for advice please. I have a crush ? on a friend. He's single and so am I, but I also have a complicated life with caring full time for my children with disabilities (he knows all of this). I'm going to a friend's birthday next Saturday, but don't know many other people there and was thinking about asking him if he wanted to come with me. This is majorly out of my comfort zone though, fear of rejection etc. I also don't know if it's a good idea in case something does happen and then I don't have the time to carry it on because of caring. I don't want to lose a friend. I also know he has a regular thing on Saturdays so he might say no because of that too. I have no idea how he feels about me, I'm neurodivergent so not very good at signals. He has complimented me a few times, but that could just be him being nice. Help!
