2.5 year old socks for sleep?

My DD constantly kicks her blanket off at night resulting in her waking with cold feet the past week or so. We have a very cold house, even with the heating on, her feet feel cold when she wakes during the night. I’m not sure if her cold feet are causing her to wake more often.

In previous winters, she’s worn fleece sleep suits to sleep but she’s too big for that now. I was wondering if anyone has left socks on their child’s feet during the night? Would it be okay to do so? Thank you.

Why wouldn’t it be ok?

They do fleece sleep suit age 4-5 in boots usually peppa pig or Thomas themed . My son had one of each . We have a very cold house as well. Other pjs we had were from la redoute the were 2 piece pjs the tousers had feet built in

Of course it’s fine, my just turned 3 year old absolutely refuses to sleep without socks on even in the height of summer. DC1 is the opposite and hates socks in bed. But there’s absolutely no reason why it wouldn’t be ok to wear them.

My kids still often wear sock to sleep in, nice fluffy, cosy ones.

Thank you all so much. I don’t know why I’ve always thought it’s not good to wear socks to bed, something I was told as I child maybe? I’ll try the socks first and if they don’t stay on then I’ll look into those sleepsuits :)

Thank you again

My kids like to sleep totally naked. Apart from socks 😂

I now want an adult-sized fleece sleep suit 🙂
