I will start with mine that I can't explain

In my family, my great grandparents were given a grandfather clock. It was passed to my grand aunt. My dad was given this clock whilst my Auntie was still alive. As a kid I hated to hear it chime at night. (I had insomnia and it was a reminder of how late it was). My parents let it go flat and put it on top of their wardrobe

Some years later, my Auntie died, and the clock chimed on the day of her death.

Hi not sure if this is right section but wanted some advice on developing possible mediumship or if anyone has had experiences of this ? I’m literally predicting when people are going to die or getting ill. I’d like to actually give people something nice and worthwhile to pass on if I do have this gift as I just feel like the grim reaper at the moment :/
I can’t find the paranormal thread.

@YourAmberSloth The Paranormal can be found in the Other Stuff subject topics.
I can also sense if people are dying or have an illness and I'm correct about it about 80% of the time. I've never developed it as I can't see how it's ever useful although I have given some people who are ill and don't know hints that they should see their GP. I've actually supressed the gift because the more you use then the stronger it gets but I can't see how it would of use day to day.
If you're really interested in developing your talent then start with seeing a genuine psychic and see what they say - if they're genuine then they'll recognise you immediately.

Anyway, as for spooky stuff - we lived with a ghost for a few years in a previous house. He would randomly appear by my patio doors, dressed in a yellow Sou'wester with the hood up, dripping wet and emanating pure sadness. I came down stairs one afternoon and there he was stood by the patio doors dripping all over the carpet. I just said "Oh hello. What are you doing here?" and waited. He was solid but obviously not solid iykwim. We stood there for a minute or so and I glanced away for a few seconds and when I looked back he was gone leaving no dampness on the carpet. He appeared more times but he just stood there and then disappeared. I was always alone in the house and it was always roughly the same time. We lived in a big yachting area so I presumed that he drowned locally but the house was less that 15 years old and I always got the feeling that he'd been about for longer than that.
