Very stressed out has anyone been in similar position ?
husband lost his job few months ago and is searching for new one (he has some health concerns that are making it hard)

we have 4 kids oldest is receiving child disability payment youngest is 2 years old .
i was due phone call today but completely missed it , 3/4 kids and myself unwell and today’s been a blur of vomit and cleaning up after them .
its showing as missed appointment in journal and i have have responded with reason straight away and requested new appointment but i feel ever more sick im so worried about being sanctioned we are barely scrapping by as it is I don’t know what we will do if we are sanctioned I feel like such a failure .

You shouldn’t be sanctioned for one missed appointment, especially if you have now let them know it’s due to illness.

I hope things get easier for you soon.

Is it easier for you to find work than your DH?

I’ve been applying for everything available , not expected to until youngest turns three so not under requirements to be doing so officially , which I hope helps with this mistake .

I'm willing to do any job really but lack of experience and work history is proving a major hurdle . Hoping as Christmas approaches more places will be taking on staff even if short term would at least be good experience . I am volunteering as well one day a week to at least having something for my cv .

Get one of you to claim carers element for the kid with disability element it will exempt you looking for work and take a bit of pressure off.
