What to do on spa break?

Sorry just posting for traffic - I've impulsively booked a spa break (two nights) for myself (solo travel) and am having "buyers regret".

I really want to just relax, sleep a lot and have a few treatments such as a back massage, facial, etc.. but am worried that I'll look out of place on my own.

Has anyone done a mid-week break on their own and enjoyed it? I have absolutely no trouble doing city breaks and browsing museums, sightseeing and dining alone but there is something about the "spa experience" that is unnerving me. It is in a country house and will include meals - I am beginning to worry I will be surrounded by couples or large groups.

Please tell me to give my head a wobble - and I know this is a first world problem!

I've been to a spa by myself. Lush! Just ignore anyone else, ha. If I was in a group at a spa I'd be thinking, I need to book myself in to come back alone! Enjoy.

I love them, I take a couple of books, try not to go on my phone too much and sleep, swim, steam etc chill, repeat.

I forgot to say I’ve only been on spa breaks on my own.

I love a spa break on my own. Absolute bliss.

Yes, I have! It was wonderful. I took plenty of reading matter - there's only so much of a day I can spend in a spa - and enjoyed finding the best reading nooks, and walked in the grounds (taking photographs, in my case). Even when people are there in couples they often aren't together in the spa, so if it helps you to remember that people can't tell by looking that you're there on your own, remember that. At meals I liked to have my Kindle with me for when I was waiting for things.
