THOUGHTS ON TRURO GOOD OR BAD !!

HI Everyone

well I need to re-evaluate where i live in Cornwall,
my new budget is about £310k , and I know this is
going to heavily restrict where i Look.

I need local shops, amenities, doctors, near a beach would be lovely,
a definite bonus or short bus ride away.

any idea's other than truro ?

Where are you now and are you restricted in commute or schools?

I mean, Truro ticks the boxes, though it wouldn’t be high on my list of places to live. Where do you live now? And why are you moving? Is it purely cost?

Truro has lots of smaller versions of shops you find in most big cities & you don’t have the crowds, market on a Wednesday, theatre, nice cafes, cathedral. It’s near lots of great beaches & things to visit. Decent supermarkets Waitrose, Tesco, Aldi, M&S food.

Saltash/ Plymouth.

Truro is OK but just like any small city/ big town in the UK. I go shopping there if I need to go into a physical shop.

Looe? You can get to Plymouth easily. Millbrook is even closer and is lovely.

relocating from outside of Cornwall , and budget is now coming a huge factor due to various reasons
new budget £320k max,

first choice was Newquay

Penzance seemed dry nice when I was there, lots of nice shops, fabulous lido on the sea front, but have no idea about prices.
