I start my new job on Monday but have been in today.. was shown round the office, showed where everything is. It’s a fast paced office role, I’m feeling completely over whelmed with all the information and worried I’ll be expected to know everything straight away! Apparently Monday is going to be very busy too. I was shown various forms to fill out and where each go and I just feel there’s so much to remember and I’m more nervous now than I was before. Help!

It’s inevitable that one would feel overwhelmed in a situation like that!
It was a good idea to go in for a short introductory session, so you can get a little bit of the basics.
I don’t think that this counts as a proper introduction nor full training, so please relax - you can only do so much on your first day, you are human!
But, the company clearly know you can do the job so remember that.
You’ll be great 💐

Unless they are total arseholes no one will expect you to know everything straight away. We were all new once try not to worry too much

Totally understandable! Just remember to be truthful and proactive so if you’re struggling make sure you don’t suffer in silence otherwise they’ll get a false sense of your performance levels which won’t help in the long term.

Make sure that for the first few weeks anyway that you have a minimum of one regular weekly catch up with your manager so you can let them know what’s going well and what you may need more support on.

I mean your workplace should have all this in hand anyway but I’ve never yet worked anywhere that did! So if you have to be proactive in organising this for yourself so be it. Your new manager will likely appreciate your initiative and show your serious about wanting to do a good job.

You’ll be great and good luck!
