Three dates with a lovely guy, but not feeling that "spark" yet?

Really lovely guy. Have good chemistry, conversation flows well, flirty vibe. But I just don't have that "can't wait to see you again" feeling I've had with previous (healthy) relationships at the beginning. We kissed briefly after our third date and it was nice but also felt a bit indifferent.

I don't think it's just a "great on paper" situation. I do like him and it feels like we connect, and when I look at him I always thinks he's attractive. But maybe that's not enough? He's extremely considerate and emotionally intelligent and all round just a lovely person. I wish I felt that spark.

Has anyone ever felt like this after third date but still continued and ending up falling for them etc?

Maybe i should! Just hard to know balance re the right length of time to genuinely see vs not hurting him

You have good chemistry but you don’t feel sparks? Can that be possible?

People can grow on you, you know. A slow burn can be wonderful.

Sorry, not explaining well. When we talk, it's interesting, fun, there's humour, connection etc in the conversation. But it doesn't seem to have translated into me feeling "gosh, I can't wait to see him/kiss him again" etc.

Sounds like a too much contact between dates situation. Is he a heavy texter? Like good morning, good night, what's for lunch kind of stuff?

I'd see him again, have another kiss and see if its better. If the physical chemistry is a damp squib then not worth persevering in my opinion.
