Blood clot 4 days post partum

I’m 4 days postpartum, feeling as well as you do, been having some stomach cramps nothing too painful and bleeding seems to be slowing down but I stood up and passed a large clot , maybe gold
ball sized, is this something I should be worried about? Just to add not long before I was sitting on the toilet doing my
first postpartum bowel movement, but didn’t push just waited for it to come
on its own. Also to add im on the blood thinning injections for 10 days

I would phone maternity ward and ask. I suspect it’s fine but would want to double check.

They will probably want to see you - I had this a few years ago and they told me anything bigger than a 50p piece they want to assess. Hope you're OK.

Worth calling the maternity ward - I had this but a few weeks postpartum and it was gravity doing its thing. Hope you’re okay!
