So Freddie is going to be a Dad. He has had his struggles so hopefully this could be the making of him?

I heard he was going to study a religion for a year abroad...

Bobby is the one from EastEnders/ Strictly who is planning a year abroad to study Hare Krishna.
Freddie is the drug taking one who lives with his Nanna, Jackie - Jade's mum. It's not going to end well.

Now I feel ancient.

Druggie kid, lives with his druggie grandma, not in a relationship with the baby’s mother. Fab news!

Maybe, just maybe, becoming a Parent could open his eyes as to what the Grandma is and keep his distance. Trying be optimistic.

He is not in a position to be a father, he’s still a child himself. One minute he adores his gran the next he’s blaming her for his drug use. Very mixed up lad

Or maybe he will be another dead beat druggy with a dead beat druggy granny supporting him.

Strange though it may be many people live their parents or grandparents whilst being aware they have a drug/ alcohol problem. Although they generally cannot see tgd addiction is giving love to them whilst destroying them at tfe same time

This could go one of two ways - he could become a present father or an absent father. Sadly he seems to have inherited his grandmother's instability, egged on by her & her drugs. Very sad. Jeff Brazier seemed to work hard to bring up his 2 sons, but both seem fragile.
