To wonder how the hell this happened?

Put a wash on including a bralette with removable pads. When I took it out both pads were in the same cup. I understand how things can get inside duvet covers in the wash but the opening through which the pad is inserted/removed is only about an inch and a half.. I’m stumped as to how the pad a) got out from the cup in the first place and b) got into the other cup. Perhaps it was lonely and wanted to be with its partner?

I blame JK Rowling.

That made me laugh @KimberleyClark. I bet you couldn't get both pads in one cup no mattter how hard you tried! There are definitely weird Gremlin things living in washing machines making nests of odd socks.

I had this happen recently. Yes, totally bonkers, but it did make me smile!

I would think it's because it didn't go out and then in again - it travelled through the middle.

Hence the reason all my lingerie is hand washed lol

I have crop tops that do this. Result is I have thrown all the stupid cups away. I can't get over that some bastard has sat there in a crop top designing job insisting on a design where the woman has to restuff the stupid thing every wash.

As other posters have said, it goes through the middle as it's just one big space inside. Mine always do this but it doesn't bother me as i take both pads out when i hang it up to dry.

Ha, happens to me as well. Had me completely stumped the first time it happened. Especially since you can't figure out how.

Mystery solved,I do the laundry and can never find the insert hole to fish them out so dw does that bit.

My washing machine buttons up the duvet covers…
