Wonder if people realise that using apps like deliveroo just eat Uber eats etc are the same people who complain about illegal electric bikes ?

The fact there is a connection between the two doesn’t mean that those who complain about illegal e-bikes are the same people using delivery services (some will be but some won’t)

Agree completely. And I’m a cyclist. My DH has a complaint e-bike I think that these companies should incentivise compliant bikes. But especially Deliveroo and Just Eat won’t as then they’d have to actually employ their drivers. Their business model is exploitative. Meanwhile the bikes which are non speed limited - essentially mopeds in a lot of cases - are sharing infrastructure with more vulnerable users - other cyclists, scooter users and pedestrians. It is turning more people against law abiding cyclists and is dangerous.

I don't use those services (think they are WAY too expensive) and I'm annoyed by them zipping around through traffic etc
