Anyone with their LO starting Primary for the first time/full time next week? How are you feeling? My DD will be starting so will have 2 in school full time and not sure how I’m feeling! Ive been part time at work (3 days a week) since I went back to work with my first, 8 years ago. Ive always had at least one baby home with me on the days I don’t work 😂 I will be completely lost! Contemplating a new job full time again, although admit to be in a very very lucky situation that we have managed ok so far financially. Did anyone else go back to work full time after children were in school? Did anyone stay part time? Good luck to all LO’s starting! :)

Yes, my oldest is starting on Thursday, she's only just turned 4 so is very young to be starting. I'm going to really miss her tbh - I usually work 4 days a week, but been on mat leave for the last few months so have had loads of time with her.

I'm also doubting the school choice - we chose.a small school that's had a not always great reputation historically, but seems to be improving over one slightly further away that has a much better reputation. I could make peace with that... but there's only 10 going into reception. Plus side - more 121, downside - quite intense.

Honestly, I'm just so unsure about it all!
