Feeling uneasy when my children croud me

I don’t know if it’s just me but I really don’t like people standing too close to me and when one of my children gets too close to me or follows me round I feel really uncomfortable.
I don’t know why because I love my children but I just feel like I need them to stand about an arms length away from me for me to feel comfortable.
Obviously I don’t show this to them.
Am I alone here?

My ds does this thing of getting right in my face if I’m helping him put cream on (he has eczema) or helping him get dressed and it always makes me recoil. Like you, I feel horrible but it’s just a visceral sort of reaction.
