Neighbours car alarm

My neighbour across the street has a car and their alarm has been going off every 30 mins for over 24 hours now. It’s very loud, it’s hot so we can’t shut the windows and our babies bedroom is at the front of our house, closest to the noise.

I know the neighbour by name but have rarely spoken to them. I doubt they know who I am, I’m just nosy enough to know their name. It looks like they’re on holiday (they have big gates that are normally open). I can track them down through our village fb group and message them. WIBU to do this? Or is it weird? My reasoning is that they might know someone who can come and deal with the noise even if they’re not returning from their holiday yet.

I think that's reasonable.

Can you move your babies to another room temporarily?

You can of course message them but it's unlikely that anyone else has a key for their car and they probably wouldn't be able to cut their holiday short to come back and deal with it. It's annoying but I would move baby to another room to sleep and shut your windows and hope that it won't continue for much longer.

I’d message. Maybe someone has a key to their house and can access car keys.
