Dying to find out your opinions on this Mumsnetters !!
When I was a child round about 7 - was in the garden with my mum and a neighbour - the neighbour had 2 kids - one my age one 2 to 3 years younger - both boys - they were there also
I had a slide in my back garden and it must have been summer - ish as all us kids were going down the slide etc - can’t remember EXACTLY what us kids were doing - but I think the kid activity would’ve revolved round the slide
anyway I had my teddies out in the garden with me - cuddly toys and I think I had an argument with one of the boys about my toy and it must’ve ended up on the floor.
The weirdest thing about this whole thing was my mum just sitting there saying repeatedly
“the toy has been thrown
the toy has been thrown ”
and not making eye contact with anyone
AIBU to think her reaction was weird ?
If she thought one of the boys had thrown my toy she could’ve said to him
“don’t throw other people’s toys Martin” - j don’t think that’s too controversial or
if she felt neither bot really did anything ‘wrong’ just say nothing ?
