To go full time from part time

Current context:
been in current job for 3 years with no pay rise
work part time:
Monday 9-1pm work from home
Tuesday to Thursday in office (over an hour commute each way)
Friday: 9-1pm wfh

I often answer a few emails in my afternoon off as it softens the blow for the following day so really I am doing full time over 4 days

have been looking at same roles full time and they wouid bring my salary up £20,000 per year extra (before tax)

I love afternoons off but I dont actually do anything just potter about collect son from school, some washing etc

I wouid be given that up but the increase in salary wouid he worth it

i am mid/late 40's and feel now or never to put more into a pension / savings etc which I cannot really do now (savings end up being paid for holidays)

but im pretty knackered already!

i have two kids in college and secondary and one in year 2

anyone gone part time to ful time and regretted it? It's almost impossible to get part time in my type of role.

thank you

I went part time last year. Do I regret it? Good question. I don’t in that it’s absolutely fine and I like the extra money. I don’t in that I really really miss my Fridays off
