Jet2 twight check in at Manchester --- am I wrong?

Asking fior a friend (genuinely!!)

She's flying with Jet2 from Manchester to an independedntly booked holiday, and the travel agent has told her that twilight check in at Manchester is only available if it's actually for a Jet2 package

Does anyone know if this is right please? Because I've definitely done it myself without it involving a package, though that was at Birmingham and I wondered if the airport made a difference?

I don’t think that’s true. But can’t be sure. I certainly don’t think it’s airport specific.

I've certainly been offered it at LBA without a package.

I’ve just checked their Twitter feed. They mention the twilight check in as 1630-2100 the night before a morning flight. Nothing about it being package only. In fact it’s jet2 (airline) that tweeted not jet2 holidays

Wilma55 · 15/08/2025 16:01

What time is their flight?

Changingplace · 15/08/2025 16:07

I’m sure I’ve used it when we’ve just booked a flight not a package.

Edit: info here just lists the airlines, says nothing about it being linked to a package booking: https://www.manchesterairport.co.uk/help/passenger-guides/checking-in/

Twilight Bag Drop
Eligible airlines: Virgin, TUI, Jet2.com, easyJet, and Ryanair (see below for more information on eligible flights and opening times).
For passengers looking to take advantage of our twilight bag drop service, you can now get free parking at one of our car parks to do so.
Simply take a token at the entry barrier and proceed to check-in and drop off your bags. Attend the ticket desk with your boarding pass and car park token to validate your token. Return your token at the exit barrier and the barrier will rise.

I've used the twighlight drop off at Glasgow with a flights only booking several times.

What time is their flight?

The flight's at 7am apparently, so if fhe cases are with her she'd need to be there at 5am at the latest and was hoping to avoid that

Thanks, everyone - I also checked Jet2's site and can't see anything about twilight check in "only to be used with our package holidays" so can't imagine where the travel agent got this from

I used Jet2 twilight drop off at MAN in May. I had flights only.

Great service.
