I feel ridiculous, but I just cried watching this. Am I just an emotional mess?

I’ve seen loads of post about the Katie Price drama but that aside, the kids are coming across so well and their bond is actually so lovely. I just watched a bit where was talking about how comments about her physical appearance at 9 years old have affected her, which was so sad, and Junior was telling her she’s beautiful inside and out. Really got me.

I guess AIBU for being this deep into a documentary about a privileged 17 year old 🙈

I've not watched it but I do feel for Princess and her siblings. They may be privileged in a way but they've still had the emotional turmoil of being in the public eye from a young age, reading pretty awful stuff about their mother in various tabloids and a revolving door of different stepfathers. It doesn't seem like a brilliant childhood.

I agree, and I actually think they are so close due to their trauma which is obviously really sad but it appears to be a lovely relationship. I don’t like Peter, but I do think his influence and parenting is why they appear to be quite nice and down to earth kids. I think with just Katie they would have turned out very different. Princess spoke about Oeter being strict whilst there was no rules at Katie’s.
Pleasantly surprised tbh, I imagined I’d dislike Princess, she’s not how I expected.

I watched the first episode and was similarly touched. I think that Peter Andre is a bit of a plonker and that he’s not necessarily treated KP that well since their split (even if he Does Love His Kids 😂) but clearly it’s been his influence and his new wife’s that have made Princess and Junior much nicer-seeming kids than I expected them to be.
