That this has made me think I’m an easy target

I’m very self conscious at the moment, going through some struggles and just at my best. I took my daughter to soft play and some 10/11 year olds were in there. As soon as I walked in, I was hit in the face quite hard with a ball pit ball. Which actually hurt. And I thought maybe it was an accident but she also then threw one at my leg. I asked her politely not to throw them at me anymore and she apologised and stopped. I’m starting to think I’m just an easy target, it’s making me feel worse about myself now

Sounds like an accident. I've been were you are and I think when you are looking for conformation, you find it. Just keep getting out of the house and focus on the positives and what brings you joy.

Nah, they were just not-so-little brats. Well done for telling them to pack it in. I was at the beach and some kid kicked water at me so I glowered at them and firmly said "don't" and they skulked off. I don't feel like I look like a victim and I'm confident, so I really don't think they looked at you and had this thought process.
