I read the first chapter of a book on holiday a couple of months ago and then left the book... Now I can't remember the name of it or who it was by!

I have tried googling but I just can't find it!

Basic premise that I can remember:
A young woman has broken up with her husband/boyfriend and has gone to live with her best friends, slightly eccentric, mum on a boat in a harbour (or marina I'm not sure the difference!).

That's literally all I can remember but it was good! Very easy reading, feel good type of book.

I think by a well known author like JoJo Moyes.

Any ideas??

Sounds like it could be something by Katie Fforde?

Rosebyanothername19 · 12/08/2025 21:32

@teddybearsbear I was hoping so as I've read some of her books and love them. I can't find it in her catalogue though... Although I have just bought 4 of her other books so at least I have something to read! Haha!

Sorry I don't know what book it is, but if you like Katie Fforde I would recommend Trisha Ashley who writes similar light funny novels.
